  • What do we bring to our appointment? (Where applicable)
Please bring along your valid GP or specialist referral, your Medicare card, Private Health Insurance card, Physical Debit Card with PIN, NDIS Number and Plan Manager details, DVA Card or File Number
  • How much are your fees?
Initial Consult: $160 (with a valid referral current Medicare rebate is $124.90) Review Consult (30mins): $80 Auditory Processing Assessment (90mins) Part 1 $185, Part 2 $160 Report writing (depending on complexity) $150 - $250 Missed Appointment Fee without notice $60 Private Health Insurance is an option if you have audiology extras. Unfortunately, the number of funds that allow us to claim through the HICAPS system currently, is quite low and you may be required to claim your rebate yourself with your fund using your receipt. To access the Medicare rebate at the time of your appointment, you must have your up to date Medicare card with you. Medicare will only pay your rebate into a Cheque or Savings account and you must have your physical card with you - the HICAPS system will not allow us to use your card on your phone or watch and it requires your PIN to accept the rebate.
  • Do I need a referral to book an appointment?
Referrals are not mandatory for a hearing appointment, but they are a good idea if you can get one. Having someone to report back to with your hearing results means that your results can be tracked and checked by your health professional. Having a valid referral also means you are able to access the Medicare rebate for your consult. We accept referrals from your GP, Paediatricians and ENT specialists. Referrals are valid for 12 months.
  • How long will my appointment be?
We generally allow for 60minutes for an initial consult. Review appointments will generally be 30minutes unless full hearing tests are to be reported. Auditory processing assessments are up to 90minutes. We also aim to see younger children in the mornings when they are less tired to ensure the most accurate results. Please note we are currently booking appointments 2 months ahead. Your hearing is important to use and there will be times when patients need to be seen urgently. We ask that you are patient with us and we will endeavour to see you as soon as possible. Please adivse at the time of booking your appointment if you have an urgent matter or a follow up appointment/surgery booked in. We have an extensive wait list, please advise asap if you no longer require your appointment so we can cater for others. We look forward to seeing you at your appointment!
